Yes Kennedy is 1 of 100. Under parliamentary procedure it only takes one to alter the balance of votes on a question before the Senate.

A mentally impaired person via a brain tumor can not function for his consitutents and the whole USA.

He should graciously bow out.

But then there is Pelosi and the DNC and now Obama----they will likelyconference and decide who they want to replace him.

By the way who would name his replacement? Would the process be like Illinois where the Governor has the power?

Heaven forbid there should be an election------that would allow the people of Mass. to decide.
