Why was Byrd upset?

The report on Peoples Radio tonight suggested Byrd was upset to see his bud Teddy in a 10 minute seizure.

Why was Byrd upset? Was he reacting to the reported seizure that Kennedy was said to be having? Byrd was also described as being ill when he came in his wheel chair and described as being hunkered over. Were Kennedy and Byrd at the same table?

The Fox anchors said that both men were at one table and at first they reported that Byrd had been taken away. Byrd has been in a wheelchair for several years.
