A lie is a lie, no matter how often you repeat it: Under mounting political pressure over pork projects, Congress stripped the earmark — or stipulation — that the money be used for the airport, but still sent the money to the state for any use it deemed appropriate. msnbc.msn.com Repeat: Congress still sent Alaska the earmarked money only without the stipulation on how it had to be spent. If you were smart, you'd claim Palin flip-flopped on the bridge. That would have been truthful.
