If there is one thing Bush can be criticized for, it's trying to get along with Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, Clinton and the other extreme partisan Democrats who care for power far more than they do our country.

I too think Bush was a little too willing to bend to these people. He should have been more aggressive in selling his program to the American people, ala the 9/11 speech.

I hope the disrespect offered President Bush by Bush haters from whatever angle is not visited on President Obama. It is unseemly, unpatriotic, and unworthy of a legitimate loyal opposition.

Obama has a lot of baggage that the press has pretty much swept away. He can be respectfully challenged on it.

For one thing, his declared support of the Second Amendment is a sham. Virtually all of his appointments with anything to do with it are all gun control enthusiasts. They will be shortly clamboring for blood.

I'm going to fight him on that, in the only way that I can, through the NRA.
