Financial relativity theory is indeed slow in delivering Dow 16,000 which seems likely to be deferred for a while yet while deleveraging continues apace and mortgagee sales proceed at half price [in Riverside and some places if not everywhere].

So far, 16,000 is about 6 years late, which is quite a long time in the investing world.

Fortunately, QCOM returns are fine. NZ$ has done as expected - now down from US83c to US53c and more to go. The short term ups and downs are not very interesting to me.

Huawei is building umpty thousand CDMA base stations. That's the sort of inform ation which gets me more interested.

Meanwhile, it was amusing that people in China were not allowed to hear Obama's speech unedited due to him saying things which are politically unacceptable in Chnia.
