The news is reporting that the markets are very disappointed in his speech. That is what is being reported today. Hopefully he will unveil some plans today which the markets will react positively to...

I think the banks in Europe caused the fall. I also concur with Tonto in that it was a record drop for inauguration day.

I would guess what most people are disappointed in is that his speech did nothing to help the market or slow it's decent.
