What did any individual Senator accomplish in the same time period? Obama did support Bush on FISA even though he disappointed his supporters on the left and his support on that legislation was a big factor in passing that legislation.

He was pretty EFFECTIVE at achieving THAT POLITICAL GOAL, now wasn't he? Beating out some 99 other Senators? LOL!
