But where are the headlines and the front-page stories about all this good news?

I wonder if Obama can take ownership of the victory. That would make the media report it. Or will he cling to the Democratic line that we are withdrawing because Iraq's a disaster? Are the Dems still pining for their long-delayed Defeat in Iraq dance and dinner party, for which they hired the band back in 2006?

It would really be the first time in history that a President preferred declaring an American defeat to victory, if so.

Not any mention the British losing Mosul, and having the American liberate the city.
