I won't add to most European pfds; I am watching SOV-B as another way to play STD (I hold SOV common pending the buyout). Another big IDG holder also recommended AZM to me. I don't follow Allianz but it looked appealing at first blush.

But European banks are too big a question mark to put new funds in them.
