Not to mention Montana and Idaho, where Californians are doing the same thing.

A neighbor family moved to California and didn't like it so came back.

I don't have to do that because I already know I can't stand California. The Sierras are nice, but I like the Bitterroots better.

California drivers are abominable.

Don't think you should lump all of us into that grab bag of liberals. California has a myriad of problems and the world's 8th largest budget - bigger than most countries around the world.

One post here isn't going to even come close to addressing the problems but one of the biggest contributors is the number of illegals - not just from Mexico or Central America - that use up all the services but don't pay for any of them. They use emergency rooms for their primary health care; prisons are over-populated, which means having to build more and hire more manpower; courts are jammed; roads are jammed - and they don't buy insurance because they can't get it without a license; schools are over-crowded; it goes on and on.

It's no small wonder that there isn't enough money to pay for it all. There's very little tax base to draw from.

Immigrants serve a useful purpose but there has to be a better way to make it easier for them to contribute financially to society. It shouldn't take 7 years to become a citizen.

As for bad drivers....Have you ever been to Boston?
