The U.S. voted Bush in twice!!! Yes, very true.......and when Americans saw what a disaster he was, we voted the GOP out in 2006 and then again in 2008. Meanwhile, Hezbollah is scheduled to win a majority in parliament for the first time in its history come this May and Hamas is as popular as ever. A lot of voters aren't too knowledgeable and they vote for who makes them feel good rather than who can do the best job. I don't think the Lebanese nor the Gazans have the luxury of not knowing what's going on. You seem to be saying that Israel was TRYING to kill civilians. Why does that surprise you? Israelis are far from saints for all their PR. Believe me, if Israel had wanted to kill civilians there would have been a LOT more dead than 1300. Israelis are far from stupid.
