I expect the commander in chief to take extraordinary measures to protect the country. Let me take my example a step further. NYC is about to be nuked. You have the guy with the codes that can stop the nukes from going off. Do you violate his rights by forcibley giving him truth serum in order to prevent 3 million deaths and NYC becoming uninhabitable. So yes Virginia, i would want my president to authorize this in such a case. We need the situations like this to be codified so we dont get in to those jury nullification scenarios.
