1. Let's remember that rendition was first used by the Clinton administration, as a reasonable alternative to treating enemy combatants as common criminals. So, at least TWO presidents thought it was a pretty good idea.

2. There is not one shred of evidence that the Bush administration EVER condoned any torture or treatment that happened at Abu Ghraib or anything of a similar nature anywhere else in the world. Not one shred. When made aware of it, the Pentagon IMMEDIATELY undertook an investigation, at the end of which those responsible were prosecuted.

Why do you people have to lie to justify your positions?
