A lot of people are realizing that much of their spending was really unnecessary. Do families really need to go to restaurants 2-3 times per week when they can make healthier, cheaper meals at home? Why go to the movie theater at ridiculous prices when Netflix gets you a month of movies for the cost of two tickets to one movie? Who out there doesn't have more clothes in their closet than they know what to do with? And unless your kitchen or bathroom is falling apart, do they really need $20-30K upgrades? The list just goes on and on. Our economy will have to readjust to the new priorities most people have.
