Okay, you just admitted what I've been telling you. You've been claiming Congress prevented the bridge from being built. As if it told Alaska, "you can't build this bridge". Congress can't tell states things like that. And they didn't tell Alaska they couldn't build the bridge and even use the federal money for the bridge.

We don't seem to be communicating very well.

Alaska could build the bridge today if they wanted to. Of course the feds didn't forbid Alaska from building the bridge. That's not possible. Who would even debate something so stupid?

But here's the deal. Here's what did happen. The feds earmarked money for the bridge and Palin was for it.

You and she claim she killed the bridge, said "thanks but no thanks on that bridge to nowhere." That's a flat out lie by Palin.

She kept the money and didn't build the bridge. She then said:

"Despite the work of our congressional delegation, we are about $329-million short of full funding for the bridge project, and it's clear that Congress has little interest in spending any more money on a bridge between Ketchikan and Gravina Island."

She acknowledged that the bridge wouldn't be built because there would be no further federal money for it. That's not saying, keep your money we'll build it ourselves if we want to, that's saying we can't build it because the feds won't give us more money.

When you stand over something that's already dead and claim to have killed it yourself, that's dishonest. That's Sarah Palin, and now that's you too...
