I've played The Artcore with the block up the center like an ES335 and it's a nice guitar.

I have an Epiphone Sheraton II which is an excellent, Korean made, 335 copy.

Both would sound better with Gibson or Duncan pick ups.

My advice is to buy "quality". Buy something that will be considered a classic in 20 years. And then, take excellent care of it.

You won't regret it.
