Peter,
From an analysis standpoint shorters do ten times more research than longs do. We have so much information that we dig up and analyze we find it hard to believe that anyone would still be long AVNT. We tend to forget that the institutions rely on outside research, they don't even read the Q's. The traders don't investigate they just sector invest. The individuals follow the funds and traders. How many fund managers do you think have read every word of the lawsuits and court papers? Lots of shorters have. The positive bias of the market is slow to turn in favor of the shorts but it will come, trust me, it will come.

I'm none of the above. I am in software product management. I spend all day talking to other IT people. The only lawyers I know are the ones I play softball with. I see my accountant once a year and the only tape I watch is electrical tape when I install wires in my home.

Never stole any source code from my work, but I did steal a cookie yesterday afternoon from a meeting room while they were on a break. Had M&Ms in it and I couldn't resist.
