I'm not sure what you mean by that, but the fact is that I DON'T recommend his approach to investing, because I think it raises people's expectations too high. Then, when the market goes against him, subscribers are at risk of getting emotional and doing the wrong thing. The last time I recommended Marketimer to anyone was in December of 1999.

I just think it's interesting that market timing doesn't have to be perfect, or anything remotely close to perfect, to outperform the market in the long run.

One of the reasons I like math is that numbers don't care how we feel about them, or whether we like them or not. They just are what they are.

BTW, have you done anything to avoid the bear market, or are you riding it out like the rest of us?
