Must mean you don't buy them in the cardboard boxes either.

A few years ago I was on the island of Grenada north of Trinidad having dinner at an English Pub House-themed restaurant. The waiter said they had an excellent imported wine that he was sure we'd love. Imagine our surprise when he presented a bottle of Gallo red table wine. It was imported.

I admit to being a bit of a wine snob. I decline to drink wine that has not seen cork. Some of te new mid priced wines are starting to use plastic stoppers and I don't buy them twice.

No doubt a practice you adopted after spending a few evenings imbibing Boones Farm wine.

So you drink the stuff sealed with a cheap cork? If it's not good enough to get a metal screw cap on, I don't drink it.

Imagine my angst when I received two bottles of wine in my wine club selection from Ste. Michelle winery (very snobbish establishment) that have screw tops.

I feel like I need to drink it asap before it turns to vinegar.
