Newton did not get hit on the head by an apple, Einstein may have had bothersome relatives but that's not how his science of relativity came about. No, Shepard, you will have to think and consider or you will remain in the dark capsule of faith you have in lab cloak clerics. Maybe you think you know the truth because you've seen it with your own eyes, or even what others have decided is proven. Interesting but a false presumption. You must in all cases think for yourself if you are going to have any peace at all. I told my kid to go make her bed yesterday before school. She said, she had already done it. She saw me in the hallway looking into her room. I said, "are you sure?" (I was looking in her room). She stopped, looked up in the air (apparently getting a visual memory of having done it) and said, yes I'm sure. So I said, "then come and look at what I see." The covers were completely down at by the bottom of the bed. I asked if the kitty could have messed up her bed that much. She giggled and apologized for her mistake. Had she lied? No, she was certain and was aware of me looking at her bed from the hallway. Her memory tricked her, by presenting an image familiar to her but not accurate for the day. The truth of any issue must always be sought, considered, challenged and tested because everywhere and everything in this life is full of illusion, irony, and paradox. Those of you who claim certainty, refusing to consider any matter further are the true believers in the world. Those who believe things have a meaning, a purpose, and a value beyond themselves, beyond their material needs, and beyond what is the seen and known, are seekers.
