You will definitely see that, but they are not all going to jail
tomorrow. I think there can't be any doubts about that.
All American people now feel strongly they were screwed, and
rightfully so. -g-

Russ should be right

"With the new administration coming in, questions will be
raised about the TARP “investments” into financial companies
and into the Fed gigantic balance sheet. Questions will also
be raised about all the sacks of turds left at the White House
door by the old administration. Given that even the slightest
transparency and dot connecting will reveal taxpayer losses,
it is increasingly evident that anybody who played a direct
role in the debacle is a political liability.

By “coincidence” the sudden “problems” Timothy Geither is
having in his nomination is a reflection that the powers in
the Democratic party probably see him as debacle participant
and a big liability. The same is true of Ben Bernanke, who I
expect will be asked to resign for “personal reasons”. His
normal term runs until Jan. 31, 2010. Then as part of a Latin
American style “truth and reconciliation” agreement of sorts,
they and other bag men can stick around for awhile in lessor
roles to help with locating dead bodies and closing cold
cases. The new administration and its large squad of
investigators and prosecutors can then pick and choose what is
revealed for public consumption based largely on political
needs. Incidentally the truth and reconciliation model
requires complete and total cooperation from its participants
in exchange for immunity."
