That is an area I watch, but not seeing much published on that. The financials collapse over time showed me that may not be an useful number. Good chart with annotations.

Has anyone seen a current book to bill for the semis?

Here's a few data points and most of the numbers are rounded for simplicity:

The initial rise out of the 2002 low was close to 400pts or 37% off the $COMP's low. The decline from this initial pop fell 175pts or 18% into the March 2003 low. Then it was nearly straight up for the rest of 2003.

So far, we've seen the 28% rise off the Nov 2008 low and then a 14% drop into today's low of 1434.

Very symmetrical...percentage wise...
