It is commonly recognized that treating these people as bank robbers was a huge mistake made in the Clinton administration.

WTC'93 was tantamount to a declaration of war. Three years later bin Laden issued the August'96 Fatwa, more clearly declaring war, and two years later in '98 bin Laden made a FORMAL declaration of war that was ignored by the US for another 3 years after that.

If you read much material on this subject, and I do, you will find that almost without exception, those who are most informed about the subject of AQ recognize that treating them as CRIMINALS is responsible for 9/11. This was Clinton's biggest mistake related to AQ.

So it is a bullshit argument on MY part.
