Not by people who are successful by their own efforts. The welfare crowd will always ave their hands out, even in good times when jobs are plentiful.

England used to have a 90% maximum marginal tax rate. America benefitted from an immigration surge from Great Britain of some very productive and high earning people.

If the goal is the destruction of our way of life there is not better mechanism than high taxes.
