Appreciate the warm thoughts , Midwest_Investor . And it is interesting your comment about two different worlds discussing the same investment advisor . Although I would have liked to have done better in 2008 , my own Invested portfolio did about as well as Bob Brinker's Model portfolio III , so from that comparison benchmark , I guess I didn't do to badly last year . I suspect I'll catch up in approximately 2010 or thereafter . Took me 7 years to catch up from my Fidelity Magellan losses suffered in 2000 , and I don't think it'll take me that long this time .
