Obama doesn't seem to understand yet, (or chooses not to) that the American people need CONFIDENCE in our new government, not platitudes. I don't know of any people who go out and provide money to build companies, that employee people, and that pay the high end of taxes, that have any confidence at all in a Congress that started this horrible economic ball rolling with the CRA in 1977... And some of those same people who insisted the banks were required to loan money to people that had No down payment, had NO income tax reports for the previous couple of years, and NO visible means of a job, are still in Congress....

Obama doesn't seem to acknowledge either that he isn't speaking to the 49% of the people who are also in America....

GWB paid TOO much attention to the other side IMO, but so far, the new President has NOT given 49% of the Americans much of anything to inspire our confidence. Most of us don't look at the kabuki dance as something to cheer about. We look at our decimated savings, IRAs, and stocks and feel like we have already sacrificed a HUGE amount.

All we can see so far is Obama and his new team are tearing every thing down, but have done nothing to inspire Confidence.

There was agreement that we must act quickly to stimulate the economy, create jobs, put money back in people's pockets."
