I don't know who thinks regulation protected our food supply. They clearly weren't watching Bush and Company let the food giants do all kinds of damage to the labeling laws, and screw with country of origin labeling.

I do hope Obama and Company are more sensitive to consumers, but I won't hold my breath.

Knowing your farmer is huge- if you can find a farmer in your area, Barring that, treat all foods as potentially contaminated.
