I would have voted for Paul myself except for his foreign policy position... I think the only way the republican party can revive itself is to move towards libertarianism... right now, there's not much difference between the two main parties, except for their talking points, in many ways their actions are frighteningly similar...

Whereas I am a strong Fiscal Conservative & a Social Moderate or Liberal.

(Balanced budgets, low and fair taxes, smaller and less intrusive government that does not try to tell people how to live their lives.)

And a strong Libertarian (often called "anti-Authoritarian").
