ALL: Hong Kong market up 4.14% (11.21Pm EST). If it holds up,
tomorrow could be a great day for CYMI and rest of the
market.

RE:And contrary to the popular belief on this thread, the analysts were NOT wrong in downgrading Cymer--after all, the stock is down (slightly) from where they lowered their ratings.

The stock went down because of their downgrades. Their downgrades were based on the "questionable" fundamentals of the company.

They were absolutely wrong.

But thank goodness for them, they let some join the party late.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

CYMER fell because they misunderstood the reaction of pulling out of the conference in Sept. They mentioned they wouldn't do that again.

The Analysts yelled fire and bailed with downgrades.

Now we hear how rosy things are by management who was trying to convey the message over and over.

Sorry, I think the analysts were full of B.S. Either too lazy to find the answers or too stupid to understand the story.

But your right, if it weren't for all the news and cheap price, I wouldn't have gotten in. :-)

Sal,
The analysts at Mongomery, Needham, and Morgan Stanley still have a chance to be RIGHT in their opinion on Cymer.

All they have to do is to CHANGE THEIR MINDS!
