Typical right wingnut hyperbole. NOBODY promotes abortion as a PRIMARY means of birth control. As a backup, when the primary means fail, yes.

"Today, he signed an executive order (while hidden from media view, of course) allowing recipients of US foreign aid to promote abortion as an alternative to contraception."

Where does it say promote abortion as an alternative to contraception? What it does is give women abroad the same choice that women here have. That's all. Did you know that if contraception doesnt work or is not used, women can become pregnant? Did you know that in the US woman can get abortions if they want to? So what's the issue. If woman get pregnant, they can have abortion. Of course the preferred way is not to get pregnant and also not to be dirt poor. This change of policy just reflects reality.
