(PHG) PHILIPS ELECTRICS reported nine-month income from operations of 3.16 mln guilders vs 1.52 mln guilders. Revenues were 52.3 mln guilders vs 47.8 mln guilders. PHILIPS ELECTRICS said its long-awaited strategy review was still being mulled over, adding the company may look prudently at acquisitions and further joint ventures. Speaking at a news conference to announce a near six-fold increase in third quarter net profit from normal operations to 721 million guilders, vice chairman Dudley Eustace said Philips was not rushing to bring out the statement which the company has previously said would be next year.
