The term 'pro-life' is always used with respect to the question of abortion.

I don't believe this is an accurate statement. People who are "pro-life" use the term to convey a larger scope, i.e., they aren't in favor of taking another's life generally.

Your reference to capital punishment is not in context for most pro-life individuals, since they also tend to be believers in the Bible and that the Bible specifically condones the concept of capital punishment ("Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed").

"The term 'pro-life' is always used with respect to the question of abortion."

Given your use of the term, how is it that you know that Hitler was "pro-life."
