Indeed, it could be that way.

There has not been any real monetary deflation, only temporary price deflation.

The billions of credit that have been defaulted on did not removed a cent from the monetary aggregates. They have only reduce banks capital which is being replaced. Monetary aggregates are increaing at the moment.
