Apparently there exists a fairly significant group of scientists who have published in regular scientific journals what they consider evidence of intelligent design at work in the universe.

Unfortunately, standards of professionalism and integrity ain't what they used to be. Not to mention qualification standards. There are a lot of corrupt and/or incompetent professionals out there.

You can find "evidence" of most anything if you go looking for it. There's nothing scientific about the process of gathering it that way, though. For example, you can claim a wet bathroom floor is evidence of a flood if you are so inclined, when in fact someone just forgot to close the shower curtain.
