I think you are right that the stock is "not moving" because of the credit crunch. But the same crunch applies to such movers as OSK. And bear in mind that that offered in return for the HUGE 900 million capex, is the very significant IRR. (At base rates the required 900 million would yield a return (IRR) of 18.1% and a NPV of 600M @ 8%.) The capex required by NGD's "flagship" El Morro is over 2Billion...

Black Swans have always existed in markets. When one sees a one it is not unreasonable to believe one's eyes...(especially when next week's Canadian budget will have as it primary aim stimulation of the economy and the restoration of credit markets to normalcy.
