Yeah? Did you ask him about the short selling ban? Was that Bush's idea? Somehow I doubt it.....

I don't want to defend Cox, but somehow after to talking to the lawyer, I get the feeling that he was told by the administration to stop stocks from falling (seriously), so that was the only the he could think of. In order to make us not look totally like a banana republic, he decided to only put the kibosh on shorting bank stocks (Paulsen's buds).

I didn't get to talk to the SEC lawyer for very long, and I didn't know him at all, so I didn't want to go into full rant mode.
