Santa is just a prime example of the Peter Principle. A fat man with too much facial hair, an annoying propensity for laughing, and a bizarre attachment to the color red- and THIS is the guy they promote? Why isn't Bill Gates Santa? Or God. Now God should be able to do a competent job, since he can read minds- unlike that Santa fellow who insisted on giving me crappy clothes as a child that I most certainly did not want.
