It was juxtaposing images of people freaking out at the NO convention center and dead bodies floating in the flooded streets with Bush playing guitar in San Diego and wistfully looking at NO out the window of AF One. The hypnosis that had gripped this nation for five long years suddenly broke and people started yelling. His presidency never recovered from that travesty.
