I said from the beginning I'm not a scientist and have no assumptions about anything. I'm not a Genesis creationist and I'm not an anti-evolutionist. I've said before on this thread that even as a person of faith, I don't believe science and religion are incompatible. Quite the opposite actually. I didn't change the subject. John asked for a link to an example of an ID topic and I gave him one. Why are you attacking me?

Why are you changing the subject? It's a gateway to take the origin of life uncertainties and conflate them with what evolutionary theory has proved, and muddle the whole thing with enough doubt to leave room for the mystical explanation to gain some traction. It utterly falls apart when the constituent pieces are taken apart and looked at carefully, but it serves a useful martyrdom and victimization need for some to feel like any critique of their views is a broad attack on their spirituality. The whole weirdness of the exchange is good reason not to let it anywhere near a school curriculum.
