<<But he sure didn't mention the fact that he was fully invested all the way -- or calling bottoms throughout the year. It would be funny, if it wasn't so tragic.>>

--Why would he do that? Why would you expect him to do that?

Can you name any other financial salesman or guru who has ever done anything even close to that?

I don't mean just admitting to mistakes. Brinker has done that on occasion. I mean going OUT OF THEIR WAY to bring up their mistakes when it's not germane to the topic at hand.

Is THIS what you think he should have said:

"Last year was a brutal year in the stock market--one of the worst ever. And my subscribers did not escape because I blew it. Not only that, but those who added new monies at my 1450, 1350 and 1250 gift horse calls got REALLY creamed!"

Yah, sure.

Today, I heard Brinker telling a caller that 2008 was "brutal year" in the stock market -- "perhaps the worst ever." But he sure didn't mention the fact that he was fully invested all the way -- or calling bottoms throughout the year. It would be funny, if it wasn't so tragic.

Old trick. Talk about how bad the market is. Let a caller on to thank him for all his good advice, perhaps a non-subscriber who learned about GNMAs from his show, and then play a newsletter ad.

I only heard some of the show near the end but was I close?

I heard one kiss-butt caller I could swear is on quite often to polish Bob's ring when he's feeling especially low as one might with the markets off about 8% after even his "conservative" portfolio lost over 20% last year.
