Yes indeed. Even as I agree completely with the need for responsibility in child bearing - and the need of contraception - this really puts the stimulus package in an awful light. Here's an opportunity for Obama walk the walk. He said money for special interest projects will not be allowed - well what the heck is this if not being cozy with a special interest group? Stimulating the economy? hardly.

Stimulus should be directly targeted towards creating jobs or stimulating the economy. This is another example of when a package gets this big - there is opportunity for all kinds of mischief.

one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.

Gee....just think how much a retroactive birth control pill could save the country.
