Sergio: I talked to Domini this AM around 9:30am. To get through I indicated it was a personal call.
My intention in calling was to make him know that there was a need for information on the merger - to keep stockholders happy, make the business grow, etc.
He indicated they were in the SEC blackout period.
In response to a question about the new company's prospects he indicated things looked very good. They did the buyout because of the two business's complementing one another- and described how. Much of this was a rehash of what has been posted here.
We talked about Boeing and their problems. He sees it as a big opportunity for TPG/LUNN(I forgot the new company's name). Once Boeing gets things sorted out, which may be done already, they will turn to their tier 1 suppliers, of which TPG/LUNN is one.
Bottom line: I sense some excitement from a CFO type guy. If any of you have dealt with them you know that is a milestone in itself.
