Yeah, I know. They tend to forget about that part. Probably because the wingnut sources were already brutalizing Clinton and Gore and never Bush. So, in comparison...

Sort of. He had a decent honeymoon, but he was starting to attract criticism because of the Axis of Evil thing and the idea that rogue nations were our biggest concern. Plus, his stance on environmental issues were controversial. However, 9/11 happened and all that changed.

The underlying theme is that reps are treated unfairly by the press...I think it's BS. Clinton and Gore were brutalized.


Actually, I think for a long time the press was afraid of Bush/Cheney....that's why they kept their mouths shut.
