Which only means that there was no overwhelming mandate for any president since Reagan in 84.

....."Obama had the largest percentage of the vote of any President since Reagan in 84."..... Maybe it just means that obama's acorners trained by him in how to get people to vote the way you want was working better. Oh and lets not forget how obama and acorn helped to forced banks to make bad loans to people who could not pay back loans. Barney and fred made a pile of money...thanks obama. :-)
