Once your submerged and under the wave action there is no sensation of movement except when turning or going up and down. A submarine behaves like an airplane when climbing or descending depending on the rate you wish to go. We used to do a fun little thing called angles and dangles to check the boats readiness for extreme maneuvers. You know like 20 plus degrees going up and 20 plus degrees going down. Kind of fun actually.
