"How could this become a state." Dunno, maybe it shouldnt. Maybe its naive to think at this point that it can? Terrorists have done their job from fatah to al aqusa and now hamas. The more terror, the more harsh the response. One state cant work because israelis know what the outcome would be. Two states might not be feasible. Maybe we should just throw out the maps and come up with something new and creative. I dont know if your map is right. I do know that in 67 west bank and gaza was 100% arab but no one wanted to run it. In 47 same thing with much smaller footprint for israel. 67 borders as a border between two states might not be feasible. I heard one israeli peace activist talking about dumping maps and giving folks local control within one state with two nations. Something like that. Yugoslavia wont work but perhaps local control within a single unit could if both jews and arabs can control their own towns and villages based mostly on current facts on the ground. But again hatred so high now, how to make it work.
