I'd actually consider breaking up the car companies. And I'd definitely break up the large investment banks.

MS is much less of a monopoly than Intel. It's got Apple, Linux and Google all competing for it's OS space.

Long term, I think Google wins over them all. I keep adding Google stuff, gmail, iGoogle is my home page, Chrome is my browser. As long as I can get on the internet, my OS isn't relevant. Google keeps putting stuff out that works and I like.

It's long been rumored that they are doing a lightweight OS that just connects you to their net stuff.
