Read an interesting article in the Journal on gold. It was speculating on whether GLD shares would be seized if/when the government seizes physical gold. Ultimately that's what worries me about gold as an investment. This government has done it before, and they certainly aren't above fearmongering. Hard to believe they'll let the yellow dog flourish as a contrarian investment when everything else, including the USD is going into the tank...
