Yeah... guess we both subscribe to Mauldin's letters..

Very frightening prospect if we have an L shaped recession, especially for exporters dependent upon our markets.

The Roubini piece is stunning. Total loan and securities losses could be as high as $5 TRILLION! I've come to turn to Roubini for no-nonsense straight talk I understand. I used to be an avid Mauldin reader-- have spoken to him on the phone, even have a chunk of change under management with a firm he's partnered with-- but more difficult to move through his florid writing style. Not being a financial type and all. -g
