Arabs have gone from arab nationalism a la nasser, fatah to the islamic groups. The gazans are a nation of refugees. They have been taught to blame israel for their plight though in reality it is their arab brether who have kept them in camps for propaganda purposes abroad as well as internally to keep their regimes in power by targeting terrible israel as scapegoat. Why did they vote for hamas? Ans. Because fatah under arafat and beyond is totally corrupt. Also like mafia, in town where they are in power, streets are safe until of course they start a war with the 1000 pound gorilla.
